Grind - Transparent Logo

billbill Lifetime Member
Hi

I'm using Grind Theme at https:creatingpossibilities.co.uk

I want the home page logo to be transparent so it blends in with the sliders.

I have added the following Custom CSS based on some of the other conversations on Themedy

#title_area, #site_title, #site_title a, #site_title a:hover {
background-color: transparent;
}

However, it still does not make the logo transparent and is blocking the slider images

I've checked and the image is a transparent png file.

Any advice?

Cheers

Bill

    Hi Bill,

    I would first disable the WP Fastest Cache plugin until you have it working correctly to make sure you are always seeing the latest changes.

    After disabling it run the Thesis Fix CSS box: https://diythemes.com/thesis/rtfm/boxes/fix-css/ with all the options checked.

    Then see how things look at that point.

    Hi Mark

    Thanks for this.

    I've disabled the Cache Plugin.

    However, the link from the Fix Css page for download is returning a 404 - any other links to the actual FixxCss Boc?

    Thanks again

    Regards

    Bill

    Hi Mark

    I've disabled WP Fastest Cache and refreshed.

    I've downloaded Thesis Fix CSS box and run that.

    I've refreshed with the shift key held down, and no change.

    Please advise

    Regards

    Bill

    Ok great that is looking much better now, so the final step should be to add the CSS from item #1 here to your Thesis Custom CSS: https://help.themedy.com/Thesis/Grind/CSS_Samples
