How to customise the responsive navigation?

Hi Mark,

Hope you're well, please could I request your help with a navigation issue?

I'm redesigning a website which I built 2 years ago using Patron: http://filmstorerental.com

I'm trying to customise the navigation bar - but everything seems to be stacking arbitrarily, the search bar stacking underneath menu items and social beneath that.

Ideally I just want a more simplified style:

- Right align all the navigation menu items so that they're tightly justified (right) above the slider below
- Remove the search bar from the navigation and put it elsewhere on the homepage
- Remove the woo commerce basket Items/Total£ which keeps appearing by default as part of the navigation when shrunk

By the way I'm running Wordpress 5.1.1but it wasn't listed above. Have searched the CSS inside out - sorry if I am missing something obvious but appreciate a few pointers!

Thanks for your help,

Sarah

    Hi Sarah,

This site looks like it needs the Fix CSS tool from DIYThemes.com run on it: https://diythemes.com/thesis/rtfm/boxes/fix-css/

Can you do that first then see how things look after that.

    Hi, Mark,

Thanks for getting back to me so soon - I've now done that, I'm afraid I'm still finding issues -

    http://77.104.131.74/~filmstor/

This might also be caused by the same problem - I'm also finding that 3 column responsive layouts don't work - it's very strange; when I have 3 columns, split into divisions of 4 (e.g. one quarter, one quarter, one half) then everything works fine. But if I have 3 columns split into equal thirds then the last column refuses to sit where it should / float right, it keeps stacking underneath the first and second.

I've done my best to fix it through the CSS but I couldn't find anything obvious.

    Hope you can help. Thanks.

I'm still noticing a few issues related to the Fix CSS type scenario that I'd like to remove as causes first.

Can you send me a WordPress admin login to this site to check: https://themedy.com/forum/messages/add/mark_hodder
