Editing Food menu & content region

johnbenrobjohnbenrob Support Expired
Hi there,

Homepage content region
I have the heading 'WELCOME TO FITZY’S FISH & CHIPS' & I can see where to edit the image but, not the text box?

Food menu
I want to make the image cover the whole background of the food menu items down to 'OUR LOCATIONS'

Many thanks,

Ben

    Hi Ben,

    That text content actually comes from the WordPress -> Pages area out of the page you have set as your "Front Page".

    The menu background should be covering the whole menu by default so I'm not too sure what's happening there.

    You could try Thesis Skin Editor -> Data Manager -> Restore Defaults - check Templates and Skin CSS only to see if that fixes it up.

    Hi Mark,

    I tried:

    Thesis Skin Editor -> Data Manager -> Restore Defaults - check Templates and Skin CSS

    The background moved down a touch but, it still does not cover it. I re-uploaded a taller graphic but, this did not make a difference.

    I'm also trying to remove the logo from the homepage footer. I have tried:

    .footer-logo {display: none;}

    But this has not worked.

    Thanks,

    Ben

    Hi Ben, both of these issues look fine on my end now, did you get it?

    You might have to clear your browser cache if you are not seeing the same thing.

    Hi Mark,

    I cleared my cache & checked it on internet explorer but, the menu still exceeds the image behind.
    What else could I try?

    Many thanks,

    Ben

    Actually, I think I was misunderstanding your request, I thought you meant the menu background itself, but I believe you mean the image of the fish behind the whole menu, right?

    The menu is overlapping two separate sections, so it's not possible to extend the background into the next section.

    However, want you can do is stop the menu from overhanging into the locations section (which accomplishes the same thing in the end).

    This CSS should do that:

    .home-template .menu-bg {margin-bottom: 100px;}

    Then you would probably want to move the location section up a bit:

    .home-template .t-menu, .t-menu {margin-bottom: 60px;}
