Change Background Color of Flexslider?

shoppingelleshoppingelle Support Expired
For the life of me, I can't seem to find how to change the background colour of the Flexslider. (At least, I think it's .flexslider, but there is no hex code!)

I've tried adding the following to my custom CSS file, but no dice:

.flexslider {
background: #fff;
color: #976E30;
}

Thanks for any insight!

    Hey try this:
    .homepage_template .slider {
    	background: #fff;
    	color: #976E30;
            box-shadow: none;
    }

    Thank you! That partially worked. The bg colour has change, but I still have a gradient and buttons that don't respond to the following:

    .homepage_template .slider {
    background: #fff;
    color: #fff;
    border: 2px solid #f1857b;
    font-weight: 200;
    }

    .flex-control-paging li a {
    background: #e66057 none repeat scroll 0 0;
    border: 3px solid #fff;
    border-radius: 20px;
    box-shadow: none;
    cursor: pointer;
    display: block;
    height: 8px;
    text-indent: -9999px;
    width: 8px;
    }

    body .flex-control-paging li a:hover, body .flex-control-paging li a.flex-active {
    border-color: #e66057;
    color: #f1857b;
    }

    How do I remove the gradient and the black fill in the buttons? THANK YOU!!

    You can add in a box-shadow: none; into the code I provided to do that - I updated the block above.

    Try adding in !important to the button colors if they aren't working, i.e:

    .flex-control-paging li a {background: yellow !important;}
