How to Translate a WordPress Theme

Follow these general steps to translate a theme:

1. Visit: http://www.icanlocalize.com/tools/php_scanner
2. Click the choose file button beside: "PHP file to process (required)"
3. Select the .zip file of the theme you downloaded from us and click the create .po button
4. Click the link to download: themedy.po.gz - and unzip it which will give you "themedy.po"
5. Set your preferred language in the file wp-config.php : for Italian, define ('WPLANG', 'it_IT');
To get your country name, see these instructions WordPress in Your Language for a complete guide. Note if you don't have WordPress translated into your language yet, nothing below will work either.
6. Download, install and run Poedit: http://www.poedit.net/download.php
7. Double click on (or "right click open with") the themedy.po file and it should open in Poedit
8. Click on the strings of text and enter your translations and then go to File -> Save As and name the file using your country extension as defined in step 5, ie: it_IT - this should create a it_IT.mo and it_IT.po for example.
9. In our themes "lib" folder (ie wp-content/themes/grind/lib/), create a folder called languages and upload the it_IT.mo and it_IT.po files into it.
10. Your theme should now be translated into your language.
